Mud - Puma Single DIN Dashboard Mount

The MUD Puma Single DIN Dashboard Mount fits all Defender models from 2007 onwards fitted with the Ford 2.4/2.2 Tdci engine. The MUD Puma Single DIN Dashboard Mount creates a quick and easy method of mounting a single DIN accessory into the Puma dashboard. You will however have to route any wiring through the back of the dashboard. 

Ideal for mounting any DIN sized CB/HAM radio unit into your Defender. Mic extension leads are an inexpensive accessory and commonly available so that Mic can reach the driver. MUD does not supply Mic extension leads. We now also offer a world first! A Carling Switch Mount to fit any DIN Sized holed, this creates a neat bank of 6 switches to drop into your Puma Single DIN Mount. Carling switches are available with a variety of different rockers, all of our Carling range are compatible with the MUD Carling DIN Mount, we even offer a Carling Compatible USB socket. Pictured below with the Carling Contura II Switches. The single DIN mount also comes with a handy 'coin tray' which sits behind the grab handle. Supplied with all fixings required to provide a quick and easy installation.

Fits both right-hand drive and left-hand drive vehicles. The Puma Single DIN dashboard mount is also suitable as a digital tachograph mount. EU customers should be aware that mounting a tachograph on the passenger side of the dashboard does now meet EEC legislation (Directive 3821/85 Annex 1b) as a suitable mounting location.
