Dometic

Warranty Claims – Important Procedure Update

The latest Dometic instruction supersedes all previous correspondence regarding warranty claim submissions.

Proof of Warranty

  • Proof of warranty must be uploaded with every warranty claim.
  • Accepted proof includes the sales receipt or vehicle registration.
  • This applies to every claim type and every submission.
  • Zero-mileage claims are exempt from the proof-of-warranty requirement.

Date Reported

  • The Date Reported must be the date the customer first informed us of the fault.
  • This may differ from the date the warranty claim is submitted.
  • Dometic may request written confirmation from the customer, such as an email, or a copy of our records.
  • If this evidence cannot be provided, a claim may be rejected.
  • This is particularly important where a fault is reported close to the end of the warranty period.
Please ensure proof of warranty is attached at the point of submission so the claim can be reviewed without delay.
