The EFS X-Treme Shock Absorber is purpose-built for the harshest environments, where sustained vibration, heat build-up and heavy impacts quickly overwhelm standard suspension. Designed for heavily laden touring vehicles, fleet use, commercial operators and extreme off-road applications, the X-Treme’s heavy-duty twin-tube construction houses a large 45 mm bore for increased oil volume and heat capacity. The internal rebound stop prevents shock over-extension under sudden articulation, while high-temperature suspension fluid ensures consistent damping over long distances and in high ambient temperatures.

Protective components such as multi-lip Viton seals, iron piston rings, bonded rubber eye bushes and an oversized concertina dust boot contribute to long service life in dusty, wet and abrasive environments. Oversized eye rings and pin mounts further reinforce the shock body for demanding recovery situations and repeated load cycles.
