ARB - Volkswagen Amarok Sahara Winch Bumper - (2016-2022)

The ARB Sahara Winch Bumper provides the Volkswagen Amarok with substantial front-end protection and integrated recovery capability while maintaining a lower-profile appearance than a traditional full-height bull bar.

Manufactured from steel and designed specifically around the Amarok, the Sahara incorporates winch compatibility, recovery-focused jacking points, auxiliary lighting provisions and integrated LED indicators and clearance lights into a strong, vehicle-specific front bumper.

VEHICLE-SPECIFIC DESIGN

Designed for the Volkswagen Amarok, this version suits 2017-on V6 and four-cylinder models fitted with the redesigned OE under panels. The bumper-cut design allows the ARB assembly to integrate closely with the original vehicle bodywork.

HEAVY-DUTY STEEL CONSTRUCTION

The Sahara is manufactured from steel, with 3mm-thick wings and pans providing protection across the front of the vehicle. A 76.2mm diameter centre tube completes the distinctive Sahara design.

The bumper is finished in a smooth black powder coat for a durable and purposeful appearance.

WINCH COMPATIBLE

The Sahara is designed to accommodate a recovery winch, creating an integrated solution for Amaroks used for off-road driving, touring and vehicle recovery.

This application is listed as suitable for Warn 8000, 9000XD, XP9.5 and XDC9500 winches, together with the Magnum 9000lb low-mount winch.

INTEGRATED JACKING POINTS

Dedicated off-road jacking points are incorporated into the bumper, providing suitable locations for vehicle lifting during off-road recovery situations.

AUXILIARY LIGHTING PROVISIONS

Provision is incorporated for fitting auxiliary driving lights, allowing additional forward lighting to be mounted securely to the bumper.

Fog light inserts are also incorporated into the design, while two CB aerial mounting points provide dedicated locations for communications equipment.

INTEGRATED LED LIGHTING

Fully sealed LED indicators and clearance lights are incorporated into the Sahara bumper. Clear lenses provide a clean appearance while maintaining the required indicator and clearance lighting functions.

DESIGNED FOR OFF-ROAD USE

The Sahara design combines an upswept wing profile with ARB's split-pan construction, maintaining approach angle while providing airflow to the vehicle's cooling system and access to the winch.
