Volkswagen Amarok Heavy-Duty Under Vehicle Protection
The ARB Under Vehicle Protection system is engineered specifically for the Volkswagen Amarok, providing a heavy-duty shield for vulnerable components underneath the vehicle.
Designed for off-road driving and touring, the system protects critical areas including the steering, sump, transmission and transfer case against potential impacts from rocks, stumps and other trail hazards.
HEAVY-DUTY 3MM STEEL CONSTRUCTION
ARB manufactures the protection panels from 3mm sheet steel. Rather than using a simple folded sheet, the steel is pressed and folded to increase strength and provide substantial protection for vulnerable components underneath the Amarok.
The panels are securely mounted to the vehicle, helping distribute impact loads away from sensitive drivetrain components.
PRECISION LASER-CUT PANELS
Each steel panel is laser cut for accuracy before being pressed and folded into its final form. The result is a vehicle-specific protection system engineered around the underside of the Volkswagen Amarok.
VEHICLE-SPECIFIC PROTECTION
ARB develops its Under Vehicle Protection systems specifically for each vehicle application rather than relying on universal skid plates.
For the Amarok, the system is designed to provide protection around vulnerable components including the steering, sump, transmission and transfer case.
CORROSION-RESISTANT FINISH
The Under Vehicle Protection panels are zinc plated before receiving a textured silver powder-coated finish. ARB states that all steel components within the system are protected by either powder coating or zinc plating, helping provide corrosion resistance in exposed underbody conditions.
PROTECTED MOUNTING HARDWARE
