ARB - Esperance V2 Hard Shell Roof Top Tent - 2 Person

The ARB Esperance V2 Roof Top Tent combines a compact slimline hard-shell design with quick operation and a comfortable, feature-packed interior. Designed for touring and weekend adventures, the Esperance V2 provides accommodation for two people, with ARB also listing capacity for one child.

Its streamlined moulded ABS shell reduces the closed footprint and improves wind resistance while travelling, while the simple lift-and-fold deployment makes setting up camp quick and straightforward. Compact bedding can also be left inside when the tent is packed away.

SLIMLINE HARD-SHELL DESIGN

The Esperance V2 uses a streamlined moulded ABS shell designed to provide a smaller closed footprint and improved wind resistance. The shell is supplied in dark grey as standard and can also be painted for closer integration with the vehicle.

Stainless steel hardware is used for long-term durability, while the supplied mounting brackets are compatible with the ARB BASE Rack and feature foam padding to protect the mounting surface.

COMFORTABLE SLEEPING AREA

When deployed, the Esperance V2 provides an internal bed space measuring 1430mm long by 2000mm wide, with 1130mm of height at the centre.

A 50mm thick convoluted egg-crate style foam mattress is fitted as standard and features a quilted polyester peach-skin cover that can be removed and washed.

WEATHER-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION

The main tent body is manufactured from 200GSM poly-cotton fabric with a 3 metre waterhead rating. A removable 210D rain fly features a silver coating and 3000mm waterhead rating for additional weather protection.

The V2 rain fly also incorporates a clear section over the moonroof, allowing the moonroof to remain usable when the fly is installed.

IMPROVED VENTILATION

Gusseted roll-up windows with midge-proof mesh provide airflow throughout the tent. Two additional ventilation windows are positioned at the highest areas of the tent body to further increase airflow and help combat condensation.

Additional transparent zip-on windows are supplied for use in adverse weather and can be removed when maximum ventilation is preferred. The roof lining is also padded and insulated to help minimise condensation.

STARGAZING MOONROOF

A large moonroof provides additional airflow and an open view of the sky from inside the tent. The updated clear rain fly window means this feature can still be enjoyed when additional weather protection is required.

INTEGRATED 12V ELECTRICS AND LIGHTING

An electrical control box is moulded into the inside of the shell, with the tent wiring concealed within the honeycomb base.

Integrated interior and exterior LED lighting provides illumination inside the tent and around the campsite. External lighting can also illuminate the optional Esperance V2 Annexe and can be controlled from both inside and outside the tent.

INTERNALLY STORED TELESCOPIC LADDER

The telescopic ladder stores internally when travelling and features angled steps for improved support and comfort underfoot. The V2 ladder is finished in black and is supplied with a ladder cover.

PRACTICAL CAMPING FEATURES

Internal storage pockets are complemented by external shoe and accessory organisers, helping keep smaller equipment organised and readily accessible.

Glow-in-the-dark zips improve usability at night, while self-locating magnets replace conventional hook-and-loop retainers on the windows and doors. Folding base tie-down points, guy ropes and pegs are also included for securing the tent in higher winds.
