ARB - Compact Sleeping Bag Series II - Lightweight

The ARB Compact Sleeping Bag Series II is designed for travellers who want genuine camping comfort without dedicating a huge amount of valuable vehicle storage space to their bedding.

At just 2.85kg, the Series II provides three-season performance in a lighter and more compact package than ARB's full-sized sleeping bags. That makes it particularly useful for touring vehicles where storage space is at a premium, whether you're packing it into a drawer system, keeping it permanently in the vehicle or storing bedding inside a roof tent.

Compact Without Sacrificing Comfort

Reducing packed size doesn't mean the sleeping bag has been stripped back to the basics.

ARB uses a honeycomb ripstop HD polyester shell, providing a strong yet smooth exterior suited to repeated touring use. Inside are two layers of 200g/m² lightweight hollow fibre insulation, providing warmth while retaining the breathability and water resistance that make synthetic insulation practical for camping.

The result is a sleeping bag designed specifically around three-season touring, rather than carrying the additional bulk of a full four-season setup when you simply don't need it.

Keep the Warmth Where You Need It

Draft management is built into the Series II, with draft barriers running along the zips to help reduce unwanted heat loss.

A separate draft collar around the chest incorporates a drawstring, allowing it to be adjusted to help retain warm air inside the sleeping bag when temperatures begin to drop.

Removable Hood & Pillow Storage

At the top of the sleeping bag is a removable hood with an integrated pillow holder.

This gives your pillow a dedicated position rather than allowing it to disappear during the night, while the removable design gives you greater flexibility when the additional coverage isn't required.

Made for Vehicle-Based Travel

Where the Compact Sleeping Bag really makes sense is when it's time to pack everything away.

ARB supplies a roll-top vinyl carry bag designed to improve water resistance and incorporates compression straps to help reduce the sleeping bag's packed size. ARB describes the resulting carry bag as around half the size of most conventional alternatives.

For a fully loaded touring vehicle, camper or roof tent where every bit of storage space matters, that smaller packed footprint can make the Series II much easier to live with trip after trip.
