ARB 12,000lb Winch

With a rated line pull of 12,000lb (5,443kg), the winch is equipped with an 11mm x 24m grey synthetic rope, offering excellent strength while reducing weight compared to traditional steel cable. Power is provided by a high-performance 4.3kW (5.7HP) motor, delivering a maximum line speed of 20m/min (65ft/min) for fast and efficient recoveries.

Installation is straightforward thanks to multiple mounting options, a pre-wired electrical system and pre-set gearbox positioning designed to suit many of today's most common vehicle applications. The rotatable gearbox offers 16 mounting positions in 22.5° increments, while the motor can be rotated into five positions in 45° increments, allowing greater flexibility when fitting the winch to different bumper and vehicle configurations.

Operation is simple and convenient with the supplied dual-function remote control. The compact hand controller can be connected via the included 5m wired lead or operated wirelessly with a range of up to 40m, giving users greater freedom and improved safety during recovery operations.

Built using premium components throughout, the winch features a forged 6061 aluminium Hawse fairlead, an Albright 500A DC contactor and a gearbox-mounted proportional friction brake capable of providing 100% load holding. The robust 171:1 gearbox combines a two-stage planetary gearset with a two-stage spur gear system to deliver smooth, efficient power transmission. Both the motor and gearbox are IP68 rated, providing excellent protection against water and dust ingress in harsh off-road environments.
