D44 - Defender 110 Rear Cross Member With Winch Mount 1998 On

For serious off roaders, a rear winch can be an essential piece of equipment, and mounting that winch properly is more than just a matter of looks.
The D44 winch cross member has been designed and tested in the harshest of conditions off road, and provides a tough, strong way to mount a rear winch.
The rear crossmember must be welded to the vehicle chassis rails, and replaces the standard item completely. The winch mounts in a purpose-made cradle and simply bolts into place. There is a removable front face to allow fitment and service of the winch.
The crossmember also features two integral recovery eyes for winching and recovery.

Please note : Cross member must be welded to the chassis rails. This must be carried out by a competent welder. The effectiveness of this item depends on the strength of attachment to the vehicle
