Moto-Lita - MK3 Wood Rim Holed Spokes

Featuring 18 rivets around the 15” (38cm) diameter hand sanded, stained and varnished South African Sapele Hardwood rim. The classic Mark Three was the first wheel produced by Moto-Lita back in 1957 synonymous with Classic British cars makers such as A.C., Cooper, Healey, Jensen, MG and TVR.

The wheels centre spokes manufactured from Aluminium finished to a highly polished finish. With a classic slotted style spoke.

Please note: Wood rim wheels can be slightly smaller in diameter than the size shown, this is due to the sanding of the rim during manufacture. Moto-Lita only use wood sourced from FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) audited suppliers.

How do I look after my wood wheel?

Just a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth should suffice. The wood is protected by many layers of PU undercoat and varnish. Please do avoid touching the wheel if you have petrol, diesel or oil on your hands. Any minor scuffs on either the polished aluminium spokes or the lacquered wood can be polished out using T-cut, sparingly (and always patch test an unseen area initially).
