Front Runner - Volkswagen Amarok Load Bed Rack Kit - Slimline II (2010-2025)

The Front Runner Slimline II Load Bed Rack Kit provides a full-size carrying platform above the load bed of the Volkswagen Amarok while retaining the practicality of the EGR RollTrac cover below.

Designed specifically for Amarok models fitted with an EGR RollTrac, the rack mounts into the existing RollTrac channels using six dedicated Pickup Roll Top Leg Mounts. This avoids the need to sacrifice the useful space inside the load bed and creates a substantial 1475 x 1358mm platform above it for camping equipment, luggage and other touring gear.

SLIMLINE II LOAD-CARRYING SYSTEM

At the heart of the kit is Front Runner's Slimline II Tray, manufactured from black powder-coated T6 aluminium with high-strength steel components. The assembled system weighs approximately 30.46kg and provides a strong platform without adding unnecessary bulk to the vehicle.

T-slots are incorporated into both the top and bottom of the rack slats and edge profiles, accepting standard 8mm bolts and providing plenty of options for fitting compatible Front Runner accessories and securing equipment.

DESIGNED AROUND THE EGR ROLLTRAC

Rather than mounting independently of the load bed cover, the six Roll Top Leg Mounts fit directly into the existing EGR RollTrac channels. This allows the rack and roller cover to work together as a complete load-carrying setup.

With equipment carried above the load bed, the space underneath remains available for luggage, tools and other cargo that is better protected beneath the RollTrac cover.

The kit includes the Slimline II Tray, all six mounting points, installation hardware and fitting instructions required for installation.

Please note that EGR RollTrac extrusions with a slot opening between 6mm and 7mm may require additional Track Mount Stud Plates for installation.
