Mud - Puma Switch Mount

The MUD Puma Switch Panel provides a factory looking solution for mounting extra control switches for your aftermarket accessories within the late model (Puma) Defender dashboard.

Each MUD Puma Switch Panel is supplied with a Carling 6-Gang switch mount, fixing screws and a cut-out template. Switches are not supplied. Panel fits both RHD and LHD vehicles. The Puma dashboard has an abject lack of space for extra switches. The traditional method is to mount switches into any spare flat surface on the dashboard which normally results in an ugly and untidy spread of aftermarket switches.

The Puma dashboard doesn¢‚¬„¢t help with its large empty spaces to the left and right having a compound curved profile preventing traditional gang mounts from sitting flush with the dashboard. The MUD Puma Switch Panel creates a smart OE looking switch mount creating space for up to six Carling Technologies switches. The Carling 6-Gang switch mount included is recessed within the Puma Switch Panel for a neat unobtrusive appearance to your switch installation.

The tooling for the MUD Puma Switch Panel mount was created using 3D scanning technology to ensure the switch mount perfectly follows the dashboard profile. A CNC trimming process is then used on the finished moulded product to ensure a quality factory appearance.

Carling Technologies are a high quality switch and used as original equipment by many of the world¢‚¬„¢s top manufacturers from DAF trucks, JCB and Caterpillar to high end marine applications. ARB uses Carling switches to control its air-locker and compressor kits so the Puma Switch Panel provides a convenient switch mount for this popular off-road upgrade.

Carling Contura XIV and Carling Contura II can be used in combination with the Carling Legend Stickers to create sideways operating switches. Carling switches night-time illumination perfectly matches the green of the dashboard illumination.  

Alternatively we¢‚¬„¢ve created a range of custom laser etched Carling V Rockers specifically for horizontal mounting within the Puma Switch Panel. With a large selection of different rocker options this provides the neatest solution to mounting additional switches to the Tdci dashboard.
