Optimill - Defender 110 Front & Second Row Door Security Hinge Kit - Black

The Optimill Door Security Hinge Kit is designed for the front and second row doors of the Land Rover Defender 110, providing a premium replacement for the standard hinges while adding an important security improvement.

Supplied as a complete set of eight hinges, the kit combines precision-machined aluminium construction with internally secured hinge pins and high-security fixings.

IMPROVED DOOR SECURITY

The Optimill hinge design prevents the door from simply being removed even if the externally accessible screws have been removed. Internal fixings on the door side of the hinge provide additional protection against unwanted door removal.

CNC MACHINED ALUMINIUM

Each hinge is CNC machined from a billet of aerospace-grade 6082-T6 aluminium. This precision manufacturing process provides a high-quality replacement for the original Defender hinges with a distinctive premium appearance.

INTERNALLY PINNED STAINLESS STEEL HINGE PINS

The hinge pins are manufactured from stainless steel and internally pinned to help prevent unwanted removal or theft. This complements the internal fixing arrangement to create a security-focused replacement for the original hinge design.

SELF-LUBRICATING GRAPHITE BUSHES

Self-lubricating graphite bushes reduce friction within the hinge assembly and help prevent wear during repeated opening and closing of the doors.

HIGH-SECURITY FIXINGS

The complete kit is supplied with high-security stainless steel fixings and shims for installation across both the front and second row doors.

BLACK FINISH

The black finish provides a smart appearance that complements both standard and modified Defender 110 models.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Optimill recommends that Traffic Film Remover (TFR), including TFR contained in some vehicle cleaning products, is not used on its anodised products.
