ARB - SkyDome 3 Single Swag

The ARB SkyDome 3 Single Swag combines the simplicity of traditional swag camping with a spacious dome design and a range of practical features developed for modern 4WD touring.

Designed specifically for a single person, the SkyDome 3 provides generous head-to-hip height with a tapered shell over the legs, creating a more liveable sleeping space without sacrificing the compact practicality that makes a swag ideal for vehicle-based adventures.

SPACIOUS FREESTANDING DESIGN

The SkyDome 3 features ARB's established dome-style layout with generous head-to-hip height for improved freedom of movement inside.

Its freestanding construction means pegs and guy ropes are not required in mild conditions, making setup straightforward when arriving at camp. An entry awning is also incorporated, with poles and guy ropes provided when additional shelter is required.

HEAVY-DUTY CANVAS CONSTRUCTION

The swag is manufactured from 14.75oz heavy-duty canvas treated for water and rot resistance.

Oversized YKK zips are protected by rain gutters around the windows and doors, while nickel-plated brass eyelets provide additional corrosion protection for long-term outdoor use.

HEAVY-DUTY WATER-RESISTANT BASE

A 970gsm seam-welded base provides protection between the sleeping area and the ground. The base incorporates 70mm-high tub sides to help protect against water ingress when camping in wet conditions.

75MM HIGH-DENSITY MATTRESS

Comfort is provided by a 75mm high-density convoluted foam mattress. The mattress includes a removable, machine-washable cover designed to resist rusting components, making maintenance straightforward after extended trips.

MAXIMUM VENTILATION

A full-width foot window and front moonroof provide extensive ventilation through the swag and allow increased airflow in warmer conditions.

The moonroof also creates an open view of the night sky, while internal dowel pockets at the window ends help prevent the material from flapping.

INTEGRATED LED LIGHTING

An internal LED light is incorporated into the SkyDome 3 and can be connected to a power bank using USB-A, providing convenient illumination inside the swag without requiring a separate camping light.

MAGNETIC DOOR CLOSURES

Ergonomic magnetic closures are incorporated into the doors for fast and convenient access, reducing the need to operate the zip every time you enter or leave the swag.

PRACTICAL INTERNAL STORAGE

Storage pockets provide dedicated locations for smaller camping essentials, while a wide-brim hat holder and lighting hooks add further organisation inside the sleeping area.

An integrated pole storage bag is positioned at the front of the swag and doubles as an additional entry mat, ensuring the poles remain stored with the swag between trips.

INTEGRATED ENTRY MAT AND BOOT STORAGE

The entry mat incorporates boot storage, providing a convenient place to keep footwear dry and helping prevent dirt, mud and unwanted overnight visitors from entering your boots.

REINFORCED POLE SYSTEM

The joints within the swag poles have been reinforced and overlapped for improved long-term durability. Metallic red accents identify the eyelets used for the poles, helping make assembly easier at camp.
