The TentBox Classic 2.0 is a spacious two-person hard shell roof tent designed to feel more like a bedroom than a conventional tent. Its vertical walls maximise headroom and usable space, while gas-assisted opening allows setup in around 60 seconds. Classic 2.0 Hard Shell Roof Tent
The TentBox Classic 2.0 is a spacious two-person hard shell roof tent designed to provide a comfortable, bedroom-like camping experience. Its boxy design and vertical walls maximise headroom and usable interior space, while allowing bedding, pillows and additional gear to remain stored inside when the tent is closed.
60-SECOND SETUP
Gas-assisted struts make opening the Classic 2.0 quick and straightforward, with setup taking around 60 seconds once installed. This makes it particularly convenient for touring, road trips and frequent overnight stops where a fast camp setup is important.
SPACIOUS INTERIOR
Designed to sleep two people, the Classic 2.0 provides a 120 x 210cm sleeping area. The vertical-wall design creates generous headroom and space to move, while deep side pockets and a large roof storage net provide convenient organisation for smaller camping essentials.
DUAL-LAYER MATTRESS
A 6cm dual-layer foam mattress provides a comfortable sleeping surface and features a practical wipeable cover. The generous internal space also allows thick pillows, bedding and additional gear to remain inside when the roof tent is packed away.
WEATHER PROTECTION
The main pod is manufactured from 280gsm rip-stop polyester canvas with a 3000mm hydrostatic head rating, C6 DWR water-repellent treatment, 2400mm/24hr breathability and UV50+ protection. Waterproof silicone-taped seams and YKK outdoor zips are used throughout, with waterproof zips fitted to the windows.
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
The exterior uses an auto-grade matte black ABS shell supported by a welded aluminium frame. Stainless steel scissor arms, hinges and fixings provide a durable supporting structure designed for regular touring and camping use.
FOUR-SEASON DESIGN
The Classic 2.0 is designed for four-season use and is wind rated up to 39mph, equivalent to Gale Force 8. Anti-bug mesh provides additional comfort when ventilation is required, while the integrated LED light bar provides convenient illumination inside the tent.
COMPLETE CAMPING SETUP
The Classic 2.0 is supplied with the mattress, ladder, LED light bar, storage pockets and net, porch poles and mounting kit. The ladder extends up to 2.6m, providing access when the tent is installed on suitable vehicles and roof bar systems.
