The Terrafirma Front Winch Bumper is designed specifically for the Land Rover Discovery 2, providing a robust winch mounting solution together with increased front-end protection for demanding off-road use. The bumper has been engineered to follow the original vehicle profile as closely as possible, helping retain the lines of the Discovery while providing the strength required for winching and recovery.
HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION
Manufactured from heavy-duty steel and finished with a durable black powder coating, the bumper is designed to withstand the demands of off-road driving and recovery work. Its close-fitting profile provides increased protection without unnecessarily departing from the original shape of the vehicle.
SECURE 8-POINT MOUNTING
A strong 8-point mounting system securely attaches the bumper to the vehicle. The multiple chassis mounting points are designed to prevent the bumper shifting under the stresses generated during winching, recovery and off-road impacts.
INTEGRATED WINCH MOUNTING
The bumper provides an integrated mounting location for an electric recovery winch. Terrafirma's design prioritises winch location and accessibility while maintaining a close-fitting installation on the Discovery 2.
WASHER BOTTLE PROTECTION
An integrated washer bottle guard is included, providing additional protection for the vulnerable washer reservoir when the original front bumper is replaced.
JACKING AND RECOVERY OPTIONS
Integrated jacking points provide additional functionality for off-road use. Swivel recovery eyes are available separately and are not supplied with the TF009A bumper.
VEHICLE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATION
The bumper is designed specifically for the Discovery 2. Terrafirma's fitting instructions state that some trimming of inner wheel arch or plastic trim may be required during installation. Original bumper-mounted fog lights do not fit the winch bumper, although alternative lights can be installed using the original wiring. Headlamp washers and parking sensors can also be refitted by drilling the bumper where required.
