Old Man Emu - Mitsubishi L200 Torsion Bar Set - Heavy Duty / (1996-2006)

The Old Man Emu Heavy Duty Torsion Bar Set is designed for Mitsubishi L200 models from 1996 to 2006 where increased front spring rates are required to support additional vehicle weight and accessories.

Developed as part of the Old Man Emu integrated suspension system, the torsion bars are designed to improve ride, handling and suspension control both on and off road. They are particularly suited to vehicles carrying additional permanent weight at the front, where the standard torsion bars may no longer provide the spring rate required for the vehicle's setup.

ENGINEERED FOR LONG-TERM PERFORMANCE

Old Man Emu manufactures its torsion bars from premium-grade spring steel, with precision drawn and drop-forged reinforced ends for strength and durability. Each bar is preset, hardened and tempered to precise specifications to help resist sagging and maintain consistent suspension performance over time.

Pressure-rolled splines provide accurate fitment and improved spline durability, while a resilient powder-coated finish helps protect the steel against corrosion.

For the Mitsubishi L200, these heavy duty torsion bars measure 1365mm in length and 27.5mm in diameter, providing an uprated replacement for vehicles requiring additional front suspension support.
