OME - Mitsubishi L200 Greasable Fixed End Pin Kit / (1996-2006)

The Old Man Emu Greasable Fixed End Pin Kit is designed for Mitsubishi L200 models from 1996 to 2006 fitted with compatible Old Man Emu rear leaf spring suspension, providing a serviceable mounting point at the fixed end of the spring.

The fixed spring pin forms one of the main pivot points of a leaf-sprung rear suspension. As the axle moves through its travel, the spring changes shape and pivots around this mounting point, placing continual movement and load through the spring bush and pin.

EASIER ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

The greasable design allows lubricant to be introduced directly to this important pivot point without removing the spring or dismantling the suspension.

Regular lubrication helps minimise friction between the spring bush and pin, reducing unnecessary wear and helping the bush move smoothly as the suspension works through its travel.

This is particularly useful on an L200 used in demanding conditions, where mud, water, dust and regular suspension articulation can place greater demands on the rear spring mounting components.

PART OF A SERVICEABLE OME REAR SUSPENSION

When combined with the matching Old Man Emu greasable shackles, the fixed end pin allows the principal rear leaf spring pivot points to be routinely lubricated as part of normal vehicle maintenance.

For a complete Old Man Emu rear suspension installation, the fixed end pin can be used alongside the appropriate Dakar leaf springs, 84 Duro spring bushes, greasable shackles, U-bolts and Nitrocharger Plus rear shock absorbers.

Together, these components provide a rear suspension system designed not only for improved load carrying and control, but also for straightforward long-term maintenance.
