OME - Mitsubishi L200 Leaf Spring Bush Kit - (1996-2006)

The Old Man Emu 84 Duro Bush Kit is designed for Mitsubishi L200 models from 1996 to 2006 fitted with Old Man Emu rear leaf springs, providing the correct interface between the spring and suspension mounting points.

Leaf spring bushes have an important role in the way the rear suspension operates. As the axle moves through its travel, the bushes allow the spring to articulate while helping isolate vibration and harshness from the vehicle. Worn or unsuitable bushes can introduce additional movement, noise and harshness and prevent the suspension from operating as intended.

DESIGNED FOR OLD MAN EMU LEAF SPRINGS

The OMESB38 bushes have an 84 Duro rating and are manufactured specifically as part of the Old Man Emu suspension system. Their combination of resilience and durability allows the spring mounting points to move correctly through the suspension's range of travel while maintaining controlled axle location.

This makes the kit suitable for an L200 used for everyday driving as well as vehicles subjected to the additional demands of work, towing, touring and regular off-road use.

COMPLETE THE REAR SUSPENSION INSTALLATION

When replacing the rear leaf springs, fitting the appropriate bush kit at the same time provides an opportunity to renew the wearing components within the spring mounting system rather than installing new springs around old bushes.

For a complete Old Man Emu rear suspension setup, the bush kit can be used alongside the appropriate medium or constant-load Dakar leaf springs, U-bolts and Nitrocharger Plus rear shock absorbers.

Together, these components allow the rear suspension to operate as a properly matched system, with the spring rate selected according to the permanent load carried by the vehicle.
