OME - Mitsubishi L200 U-Bolt - Rear / (1996-2006)

The Old Man Emu Rear U-Bolt is designed for Mitsubishi L200 models from 1996 to 2006, providing the hardware required to securely clamp the rear leaf spring and axle assembly together.

U-bolts are a critical part of a leaf-sprung suspension system. They maintain the clamping force between the spring pack and axle, helping keep the axle correctly located and preventing unwanted movement under acceleration, braking and suspension articulation.

DESIGNED FOR OLD MAN EMU SUSPENSION

This U-bolt uses a round top profile with an inner length of 190mm and axle spacing of 88mm. The M12 x 1.25 threads provide 70mm of threaded length and are used with the associated washers and nuts to securely clamp the suspension assembly.

When installing replacement Old Man Emu leaf springs, using the correct U-bolts and fastening hardware ensures the suspension is assembled to the intended dimensions and clamping specification.

ARB specifies a recommended tightening torque of 79Nm for this U-bolt. Correct installation and subsequent inspection of the suspension hardware are important to maintaining axle location and suspension performance.
